All of my foodie friends, pay close attention because it looks like we are getting a special treat in Waterville.

It hasn't officially been announced yet, but we are seeing signs that it's certain to happen. Because of the signs on the door.

Pho Appetite and Banh Mi Bubble Tea is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant and looks to be set to open on Kennedy Memorial Drive in Oakland.

This will give us a taste of Southeast Asia right in the heart of Maine. Pho restaurants are known for their rich bowls of pho (pronounced "fuh").

Pho is a traditional Vietnamese soup consisting of flavorful broth, tender noodles, and a variety of meats or tofu. Our mouths are watering already!

I am assuming that this restaurant will serve other amazingly delicious Vietnamese favorites like spring rolls, stir-fried dishes, and even the popular banh mi sandwiches.

And don't forget the unforgettable bubble tea!

There are numerous Vietnamese restaurants serving up Maine with delicious dishes.

We heard about this from an anonymous post on the Facebook group, "What's Up Waterville."

The comments are filled with excitement and joy to try this spot.

I am sure you all know about bubble tea by now! It's honestly the ultimate drink but if you haven't tried it, it's also known as Boba and has become a global favorite. It's easy to see why because it's so fun to drink and extremely refreshing. It's a tasty tea base drink with chewy tapioca pearls.

Whether you're a long-time fan of pho or trying it for the first time, food is always a fun adventure to add with Waterville's food scene. Be sure to stop by and welcome them to the community!
