SUV Smashes Right Through the Side of this Liquor Store in Auburn, Maine
In a crazy incident that took place in Auburn, Maine, an SUV smashed directly into a popular store on Minot Avenue, according to the Sun Journal.
The accident that happened Wednesday, October 30, has gained mega attention from locals.
It happened at Rooper's Beverage & Redemption, a popular liquor store on 545 Minot Avenue.
Janet Fox, 76, of Poland was driving a 2010 Honda CR-V, and luckily was not injured, according to the newspaper.
As per the report, she accidentally pushed the gas and accelerated straight into the building.
This happened while she was trying to park in front of the building, according to Auburn police Sgt. Nathan Westleigh via Sun Journal.
Someone was watching, and the witness said that the woman driving looked pretty shaken but seemed to be OK.
It was also confirmed that none of the employees or people inside of the store were injured.
The damage to the building was quite significant, but according to the report, the structure remains safe.
The Sun Journal shared the news on their Facebook page, where you can see a picture of the damage to the building. In addition, many comments and opinions from alleged witnesses have been pouring in about the crash.
It is a relief that everyone involved is OK and that no injuries were reported. It's a reminder of how quickly things can change, but thankfully, in this instance, everyone came out OK.
