Chuck E. Cheese has opened two new arcades in New Hampshire malls, but these are a different take on what you'd normally expect from Chuck.

Chuck E. Cheese opened up at the Maine Mall in the portion of this building that is to the right of Ulta Beauty. Chuck E. Cheese opened on December 17th, 2002, and 10 years later, the company that owns Chuck E. Cheese couldn't agree to a new lease with the Maine Mall, so it was closed on December 16, 2012.

Two new arcades from CEC Entertainment, which owns Chuck E. Cheese, have opened in New Hampshire under the name "Chuck's Arcade." One is located in the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, and the second is at the Rockingham Park Mall in the location of Fun Spot Arcade, not to be confused with Funspot in Laconia.

Both are currently open.

What's With the Name "Chuck's Arcade?"

Chuck's Arcade was announced in June 2025 as an arcade that can be found in malls, which is marketed to adults.

No food, no animatronic characters, no birthday parties. This is just a straight-up arcade, making it feel a bit like things used to be with every mall in America having a video arcade.

Chuck's has classic arcade games that adults will remember, depending on just how old you are. In the walkthrough of the Pheasant Lane Mall location seen above, there wasn't a single Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Asteroids, Dig Dug, or Frogger. I get that times have changed, and many adults may not remember a childhood with those classic games, but I sure do!

Regardless of my thoughts, it's nice to see arcades return in malls here in New England. Now let's get a Chuck's at the Maine Mall, please.
