Farmington Fright Fest is Closing Permanently After Years of Halloween Scares in Maine

For horror fans across Maine and New England, this one is definitely going to sting a bit. Farmington Fright Fest has announced that it’s closing its doors for good.  

After several seasons of screams, jump scares, haunted attractions, and unforgettable October nights, the people behind the event say this year’s three haunted attractions will not be returning.

In a post shared, the team thanked everyone who ever bought a ticket, walked through their haunted trails, or screamed their way through the experience.

They also gave a special shoutout to the cast and crew who spent countless nights bringing the spooky attraction to life.

For many Mainers, Farmington Fright Fest wasn’t just another haunted house.

It's a tradition, a place where we would challenge each other to make it through!

But this may lighten the sting a bit, the haunt itself is coming to an end, the page isn’t disappearing.  

The post says they’ll continue sharing information about haunted attractions, Halloween events, and spooky conventions happening throughout Maine and New Hampshire, so the Halloween spirit will live on.
