They are kicking off Halloween season in true October fest style. Lost Valley’s Oktoberfest Party ,presented by Roopers is the spot to be on Friday, October 3rd, according to the event page.
Picture steins of yummy beer, live music, fun competitions, and the absolutely perfect mix of Halloween spirits and German tradition to get you into the mood for fall.
At this year's event, you do not have to pay to get in. Yes, it’s free to attend!
The German food will be amazing and the Oktoberfest German Band will bring the music. You can jump in, dance, sing, and make sure you’re wearing your best lederhosen or dirndl.
Maine’s Favorite Oktoberfest Celebration Returns to Lost Valley This Friday
Competitions are fiercely hilarious with games like stein hoisting and keg tossing. Plus, all the beer. Oh man, there’s going to be so much beer.
You’ll discover the German legends like Spaten, Paulaner, Hofbrau's and Lost Valley’s very own Das Tal brew.
If you are feeling extra festive, you can go big and try the exclusive 25 ounce Oktoberfest mug. It costs $30, but you’re first fill is free! Grab your mug early though because they are limited.

Here’s what the schedule looks like:
- 4pm: Doors Open
- 4:30pm: Official Keg Tapping
- 4:30–6:30pm: Live Oktoberfest Band
- 6:30pm: Keg Toss Competition
- 8:30pm: Steinhoisting Competition
- Axe throwing 4–7pm
