New Maine Oyster Bar Serving Up Fresh Flavors Recently Opened
Salty Spirits is the newest spot that has already started to make it’s mark on Maine, according to Portland Press Herald. Recently opened by Deb and her son Michael who are the geniuses behind Lil’s Café, Henry’s Bagel & Deli, and several other cafes in Maine.
Their latest venture is small but oh so mighty and worth pulling up a barstool for! As per the article, it’s located in Kittery Foreside and is an intimate oyster and cocktail bar. Yes please!
The coastal charm, cozy vibe, and welcoming items are calling your name. They officially opened their door December 18th and boy, do we all love it.
A Cozy New Oyster & Cocktail Bar Is Making Waves in Kittery Foreside
Sitting pretty at 76 Wallingford Square, Salty Spirits is just 500 square feet but was created to feel cool, calm, relaxed and the perfect upscale hangout.
And the menu, okay, get ready for a raw bar with dishes like sautéed mussels, lobster tacos, tinned fish, manchego plates and so much more. It’s the kind of menu where you go “okay I'll also get that too.”
Drinks? Don’t mind if we do, because at Salty Spirits it looks like everyone is thought of. The drink list includes, wine, Maine beers, mocktails, and more.
What standouts to me? Check out the martini flights and Old Grog’s Gold, which is a mix of bourbon, lavender syrup, and lemon juice that feels both classic and coastal. Yum.
