The Taste of Maine in Woolwich recently brought back its Sunday buffets, but there's one in particular you should definitely mark your calendars for.

There will be a 99-cent buffet in December.

Not only will you be able to enjoy a variety of delicious foods for cheap, but this particular buffet is centered around a good cause.

  • Popular themed toys/gifts (all ages)
  • Gifts for teens

The restaurant has teamed up with Maine Children's Home, based out of Waterville, in an effort to get gifts to Maine children this holiday season.

The buffet, which starts at 11 a.m. sharp, is available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Good food and a good cause sounds like a pretty sweet deal, right?

Buffets at The Taste of Maine in Woolwich

If you just want to enjoy a buffet regardless, The Taste of Maine is offering them every Sunday starting October 19.

It's served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and you can chow down on the likes of homemade corn chowder, baked stuffed pasta shells, lasagna, fried shrimp, baked ham, seafood casserole, and crab legs. The menu might change each Sunday, so be sure to check their Facebook page for any updates on what they might be offering.

You can certainly order off the menu as well on Sundays, if you're craving, say, the world's largest lobster roll.
