Watch Bull Moose Charge a Guy Up in Aroostook County, Maine
After a close encounter with a giant bull moose, a man in Aroostook County, Maine is fine.
He walked into a big swampy area of Aroostook County around 8 in the morning this week to set up a few game cameras when he heard the sound of a cow moose in heat. According to WMTW, that's when he came face to face (literally!) with a bull moose.
The man (whose name was never revealed) said that he saw the cow he first heard surrounded by three bulls that were competing for her attention (must be nice to be popular).
When one of the bulls heard him coming, that's when he approached. He told WMTW in a message,
Most moose that we have encountered are spooked by a human voice. Unfortunately, in his rut-crazed mind, I was still another bull trying to take his cow.

Apparently, shooshing a bull moose in Maine doesn't work.
You can hear the man tell the moose that it was close enough and to go and 'get out of here'. It did not listen. He got about three feet away from the bull moose when the big beast decided he'd had enough and charged the videographer.
He was knocked to the ground and slid about six feet from the massive shove. But because he kept yelling, the bull finally ran in the other direction. He held up his hand to block the antlers and ended up with only some scrapes and bruises. He's lucky. He wrote to WMTW,
I was on my hands and knees at this point and completely defenseless.
What an encounter and the good news is he's just fine with an amazing video!
