According to WMTW, a number of remembrance events are planned, including a public gathering at 4 p.m. Friday on the Longley Bridge.

The news station also reported that there will be two moments of silence on Saturday, October 25: "The first will be at 6:56 p.m., when the first shooting happened at Just-In-Time Recreation, and the second will be held at 7:08 p.m., when the second shooting happened at Schemengees Bar and Grille."

As we remember those lost, it’s important to honor their lives, not defined by the horror they endured, but by the love and joy they brought to those who knew them.

In the face of unspeakable grief, the people of Lewiston and Maine have shown resilience, solidarity, and hope.

We stand with Lewiston, never forgetting the victims and always remembering the strength of this community.

Together, Lewiston remains strong.
