Mark Hamill is Giddy Over Sitting Next to Maine Author Stephen King

Most likely, everyone has a celebrity they are a big fan of and would be beside themselves if they ever met them. For me, that person was the late Bob Barker. I met him backstage at The Price is Right back in 1999. I have been a fan of The Price is Right ever since I can remember. That's me, 25 years younger standing in contestants' row in a darkened studio.

Even celebrities are big fans of other celebrities, like Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in five of the nine Star Wars movies.

Hamill was recently at the Toronto Film Festival for the world premiere of The Life of Chuck an adaptation of the Stephen King novella If It Bleeds.

 Who was Mark Hamill seated right next to? None other than Stephen King. He was about as excited as I was when I met Bob Barker.

Hamill posted a picture of himself to Twitter...uh....X...sitting next to Stephen King who had his phone in his hand looking ahead.

"It took every ounce of discipline I possess to avoid freaking out & exposing myself as the weak-kneed, slavish fan-boy I truly am," he said in the post pointing out just how much a fan of Maine's own Stephen King he is.

The next day, Hamill posted to X again saying he's "framing this tweet," because no one calls what you post on this platform an "X." He reminds King in his post that he's still not following him on X.

Kind responded but spelled Hamill's name with just one L. I'm pretty sure Mark doesn't care.
