The best part about Portland, Maine is the diversity of original breweries we have here. We're absolutely a foodie and drink town which makes it possibly a bit easier not to realize some of the best ones have closed down.

Sebago Brewing
This one damn near broke my heart when they broke up with their Portland location. The Aztec grilled chicken bowl? Pfffff I could eat it for every meal and I kind of almost was at one point.
I don't think Sebago will ever permanently go away though as their original brew house is right in Gorham (and one is of my families favorites). They also have really cool THC/CBD drinks which is always a win in Maine.
Banded Brewing Taproom Portland, Maine
This one literally came and left and I never realized it until their IG post came up on my feed:
Don't worry though, just like Sebago Brewing they've got their original location still going strong in Biddeford.
It doesn't mean these places were so bad we didn't realize they were gone. These are a few of my favorite ones actually. Mom was right, all good things have to come to end eventually, right?
