From Friday, November 22 through Sunday, December 1, you can catch the critically acclaimed show The SpongeBob Musical at the Waterville Opera House.

The SpongeBob Musical is a Tony-nominated musical

When this hit Broadway in 2017, it was critically acclaimed. According to Wikipedia, the show walked away with 12 Tony Award nominations and tied with Mean Girls for the most-nominated production at the 72nd Tony Awards in 2018. The pandemic shut down production in 2020 and it just went back to touring last year. And it's coming to the perfect place, the Waterville Opera House.

When is The SpongeBob Musical coming to Waterville, Maine?

The citizens of Bikini Bottom find a volcano that could erupt and destroy their humble home. SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises. The power of optimism really can save the world! This happens at the Waterville Opera House from Friday, November 22 through Sunday, December 1.
