Voting for Maine's Great Pizza Playoff 2026 ended on Sunday, March 15, and we've finally got a winner.

Taking the victory in this epic pizza battle is Fire & Ice in Windham.

Congratulations to the champion, who not only won the title but also $10,000 in radio advertising airtime on Townsquare Media Portland stations (WJBQ, WHOM, WBLM, WCYY).

Who Was the Winner of Maine’s Great Pizza Playoff 2026?

There were 16 pizza places selected from a number of submissions to participate in Maine's Great Pizza Playoff for 2026.

Amato's, Back Cove BBQ & Pizzeria, The Cabin, Cargo Pizza Company, Cibo Pizza, Fire & Ice, Fork in the Road, Foundation Brewing Company, Matterhorn Ski Bar, Norway Pizza XChange, OTTO Portland, Pat's Pizza, Pizzaiolo, Romeo's Sports Bar & Grill, Shipyard, and When Pigs Fly went head to head as pizza fans voted from March 2 to 15.

After two weeks and thousands of votes, one Maine place pulled away from the pack: Fire & Ice.

The Windham spot opened in 2023 and also specializes in rolled ice cream, making it a great stop for both pizza and dessert. (You know, fire and ice!)

They serve apizza-style pies, known for their deliciously thin, chewy, slightly charred crust that delivers a crisp bite without feeling burnt.

And now they are the winner. Bravo!

Congratulations again to Fire & Ice, and thank you again to all the pizza places that participated in Maine's Great Pizza Playoff 2026.

And of course, thank you to all the pizza fans across Maine who cast their votes and helped crown this year’s champion.

Time to get a slice!
