Brunch is uniquely perfect—the best of two different meals, blended into one to create an ideal plate. It’s a meal only the gods could deliver to us. It’s literally one of the top five reasons why life is such a miracle.

Brunch was created for those yearning for comfort food—especially after a long night of taxing your body and in need of medical intervention by way of massive caloric intake.
Thankfully, Portland is ready to take care of the masses with a plethora of delicious and iconic restaurants at our fingertips.
How Much Has Brunch Taken Off Here in Portland?
The brunch scene in the Forest City is exemplary. I’ve been fortunate enough to eat in some of the greatest foodie towns in America, yet many of my favorite brunch meals come from restaurants right here in our little city.
Portland is extraordinarily lucky to have so many homegrown chefs, as well as those “from away” who’ve discovered how amazing it is to live and work in our fine state. That melting pot has helped turn Portland into a can’t-miss culinary paradise—especially when it comes to brunch.

While I have my favorite spots, I was curious to see what the masses believe are Portland’s best brunch locations. I decided to take a look at the latest “best of” list from TripAdvisor.
