According to Whiskey Myers' website, the rock band's first album came out in 2008, and they've released six albums so far. They've even been featured on the hit television show "Yellowstone" with Kevin Costner.

The band's website says they draw "as much inspiration from Nirvana as from Waylon Jennings," continuing to rock out however the music takes them.

“Everybody wants you to pick a genre, but we did this our whole career,” says singer Cody Cannon. “We like it all, so we’re gonna do it all. We’re better than we were at 20 years old — you try to hone your skills and get better, write better, play better. This is just how it came naturally, and it works better that way.”

Whiskey Myers is made up of Cody Cannon (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), John Jeffers (lead guitar, slide guitar, lap steel guitar, vocals), Cody Tate (lead and rhythm guitar, vocals), Jeff Hogg (drums), Tony Kent (percussion/drums), and Jamey Gleaves (bass).
