This Place Has the Best Burgers in Massachusetts, According to Reader’s Digest
Burgers really hit the spot sometimes.
On hot summer days when you've been outside or on the water, there's nothing better than biting into a delicious, freshly-grilled burger with all the toppings and condiments one could ask for. It not only tastes incredible, but rejuvenates your body after a busy day.
Heck, who are we kidding? There's no such thing as a bad time or place for burgers, especially if they're the best in Massachusetts.
The popular magazine Reader's Digest shared the best places for burgers in every state, including the historic Palace Diner in Maine, and the ever-popular Lexie's Burgers in New Hampshire. But what about the Bay State? Drum roll, please...
White Hut in West Springfield and Holyoke, Massachusetts
White Hut has been serving "America's favorite burger since 1939", and hungry diners just can't get enough. Their original location is in in West Springfield, but they also have a second one in Holyoke that's open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (three of our favorite things).
Here's what Reader's Digest had to say about White Hut:
There’s no fuss or frills to be seen at White Hut, located in Springfield. Founder Edward Barkett purchased the restaurant in 1933 for $300, and the local institution has been serving up classic diner fare ever since. Thin patties are topped with white American cheese and buttery fried onions, served on a seedless bun with the option to add extra fixings.
But the fun doesn't stop there. They've also got shakes and hot dogs (which look amazing, by the way).
