Yarmouth, Maine

Although a small town, Yarmouth is only 11 miles away from the city of Portland, so culture and arts are not far.  Retirees can enjoy a quiet town with the beach nearby, and plenty of social activities to keep you feeling young.

Maine Medical Center is nearby, but the median home price is a little more than other towns, coming in at $695,000.  Yarmouth has much to offer, and is one of the safest communities in the state.
