Baseball is America's favorite past time. There is nothing like being out on a warm Summer night with the fam or friends at a baseball game! Who doesn't love an environment where you are encouraged to eat as many peanuts as humanly possible?

We used to travel into Boston for Red Sox games a few times a year. In more recent years I have come to find that the minor league games are just as much fun and whole lot less of a hassle. Parking is easy (and sometimes free), the food is good, and it's still very entertaining. Many minor league players go on to have very successful careers in the MLB so you are still watching quality baseball. They have to start somewhere!

USA Today is in the process of finding the best minor league baseball stadium in the country.

I was perusing the nominees and being the New Hampshire girl I am, of course I was searching for Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester. (Go Fishercats!) We were snubbed! There was also no mention of Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine, which is also a pretty iconic ballpark.

However, there was a New England park on the list and it is one that has made a lot of noise over the past few years.

Polar Park in Worcester Massachusetts could win the title of the best Minor League Ballpark in the country.

Polar Park is home of the Worcester Red Sox. The article explains that this cozy park opened in 2021 in the heart of Worcester and has helped revitalize New England’s second largest city. Fans love their new home and are coming out for the WooSox in a big way. They are the only club in all of Minor League Baseball to sell more than 500,000 tickets each of the last three years. That's a pretty impressive achievement.

The WooSox uniforms look just like the Boston Red Sox players except they say Worcester instead of Red Sox. Pretty Snazzy!

Show your New England pride by voting for Polar Park in Worcester Massachusetts here. Voting ends March 26th.
