New Hampshire Restaurant Closings 2025

One of the earliest announcements of 2025 closure came from The Franklin in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

This oyster bar, which opened 10 years ago, announced in a Facebook post in January that it "made the difficult decision" to close for good. Operations for the restaurant ceased at the end of March.

Another restaurant to close its doors was a nearly 100-year-old business that ended its run in the spring of 2025.

According to a Facebook post, Harvey's Bakery and Coffee Shop in Dover, New Hampshire, announced that "our family has made the difficult decision to retire and close" in spring 2025
The bakery was established in 1932. How incredible is that!
