New Hampshire’s Prettiest Hotel Has Over 400 Years of History and Charm

As one of the oldest regions in the country, it's no secret that New England is filled with history.

Three Chimneys Inn in Durham, New Hampshire

Built in 1649, Three Chimneys Inn is one of the oldest buildings in not only the Seacoast, but New Hampshire as a whole. The 23 rooms in the main homestead and adjacent 1795 Carriage House all boast "original millwork and exposed beams that produce a cozy, inviting ambiance," according to MSN.

Looking to grab a bite to eat? The Inn's ffrost Sawyer Tavern offers an evolving menu of farm-to-table cuisines and exceptional cocktails, served by a friendly and accommodating staff. Both the Tavern and upstairs Maples and Coppers dining rooms are open to the public Wednesdays through Saturdays from 5-9pm.
