In August, Jack White is going to make history in the state of Maine as he finally performs as a solo artist here. I can't wait for his show at Cross Insurance Arena on Aug. 23, and I know I'm not the only one. To prep fans for his massive Supply Chain Issues Tour, White recently released a live performance of his latest single, "Taking Me Back," off of his upcoming record, Fear of the Dawn.

You can watch it in all its glory below:

According to White's Instagram, the band featured in the above video is officially known as the "Supply Chain Issues Tour quartet." In this quartet are bassist Dominic John Davis, keyboardist Quincy McCrary, and drummer Daru Jones. By all accounts, this will be the band that tours the country with White this year, and I have to say, I can't wait. White can't even wait as he shared on Instagram, "You need to see this band live!"

If the video of "Taking Me Back" is any indication, it's going to be a loud, fun night when White and company finally make their way to Portland.

Fear of the Dawn is set for release on April 8 and then White is following it up with a second full-length record, Entering Heaven Alive, on July 22.
