And if you needed that hopeful bump in spirits, a pair of absolute favorites in Scarborough are giving you that spring mindset by announcing their seasonal opening dates.

Clambake Seafood Restaurant in Scarborough, Maine, Set to Reopen in March

For many, the Clambake Seafood Restaurant at Pine Point is a destination every single season.

Known for their Fisherman's Platters and fried combos, there's a reason the Clambake restaurant parking lot is so large.

On Facebook, the Clambake Seafood Restaurant announced they would be reopening for the season on Thursday, March 12.

The Clambake is also known for having entertainment throughout the season. They'll feature an early-season show from comedian Bob Marley on April 4.

Clambake's early season schedule will be Thursday-Sunday 11am until 8pm.

Ken's Place Seafood Restaurant in Scarborough, Maine, Will Also Open in March

Another destination restaurant in Scarborough, Maine, for many locals and repeat visitors is Ken's Place.

The nearly century-old restaurant is known for their scrumptious fried clams and wide variety of different seafood plates.

Ken's Place Seafood Restaurant will officially open for the season on Friday, March 20.

Ken's Place will be open seven days a week through the third week in October.
