Lester Solid, Sox Win 5-2 [VIDEO]

Jon Lester pitched a strong 7 2/3 innings, David Ortiz smacked a 2-run home run and the Red Sox got back on the winning track with a 5-2 win over Cleveland.

Lester allowed just one earned run on eight hits. He struck out 4 and walked one. Lester's ERA for the season is now 3.33.

Meanwhile, Ortiz cranked his 15th homer of the season in the fifth inning. Mike Napoli and Brock Holt had two hits each, Daniel Nava had three.

The Sox improve to 30-36.
