New Food Truck Park to Open in Lisbon Falls, Maine, This Spring
Shared on Facebook by Tia Clark, a brand new food truck and makers park is planned to open at 743 Lisbon Street in Lisbon Falls, Maine, something this May.
The unnamed food truck park will feature waterfront scenery along the river as well as trash cans, picnic tables and portable bathrooms.
The park itself is large and will feature ample parking. It's location in Lisbon Falls is right on the town line with Topsham, Maine.
While the new park will be centered around food trucks, the hope is that it will also feature home bakers, crafters and farmers as well.
Lisbon, Maine, Has Been Embroiled in a Food Truck Festival Controversy
Over the past couple of years, Lisbon, Maine, has found itself embroiled in a food truck festival controversy.
According to WMTW, Lisbon has been holding a 'Tasty Tuesdays' event throughout the summer featuring food trucks in the town. But controversy came to the door when some local food trucks were being optioned out over regional trucks in an effort to keep things fresh.
With limited space and limited dates, people started to get frustrated.
Perhaps a full food truck park will ease some of that.
The Lisbon Falls, Maine, food truck park has not set a grand opening date as of this writing.
