New Portland, Maine, Music Venue Set For Grand Opening

The time has finally arrived for a brand new concert venue in Portland, Maine, to officially open.

That new music venue is called Live at Madrid's and is located on the Portland, Maine, waterfront near the WEX building along Fore Street.

About a month ago, Live at Madrid's announced a handful of shows and that a grand opening date would be coming soon.

That grand opening is upon us.

Live at Madrid's in Portland, Maine, Set For Grand Opening on March 13

Live at Madrid's has announced their grand opening will be Friday, March 13.

The new concert venue will celebrate with their first-ever show, a concert from Gina and The Red Eye Flight Crew.

Additional shows featuring acts like Murcielago, the Mallett Brothers Band, Rigometrics and Sparks the Rescue had previously been announced.

Live at Madrid's has now filled out their calendar with more shows in their main concert hall as well as more intimate gatherings set exclusively for their lounge area.

Live at Madrid's in Portland, Maine, Will Have An Interesting Design

According to the Portland Press Herald, Live at Madrid's will be shaped like a giant L when people walk inside the nearly 800-capacity venue.

At one end of the L, there will be the main stage for larger performances.

Opposite that, there will be a smaller stage that could be used for comedians, podcasts, smaller DJ sets or even karaoke.

Live at Madrid's design will let it cater to events like weddings and corporate gatherings as well.

Live at Madrid's currently has concerts and events listed through July with more to be announced soon.
