Longhorn's Absence in South Portland Was Noticeable
While Longhorn in South Portland was doing repair work and unable to seat guests, it became very evident that the Portland area still has a lack of quality steakhouses.
There have been a few come and go over the last 20 years but given how popular both Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse have been in the area, it's a surprise that another local restaurant or chain hasn't tried to open a location.
