Popular Maine Seafood Restaurant to Open 2 Locations Inside Fenway Park
Although Luke technically opened his first location in New York back in 2009 as a tiny lobster roll shack, it only made sense for him to bring his brand up this way, as a Maine native.
Despite its expansion to over 40 locations across the US and internationally, Luke's Lobster remains true to its roots, as you can expect their lobsters to come fresh directly from the Maine coast. Luke opened his first year-round, full-service restaurant here in Portland, Maine, back in 2019.
Conveniently located at the end of the historic Portland Pier, locals and tourists have been enjoying the quintessential seafood dining experience, savoring fresh Maine seafood and a view of Casco Bay to go along with it.
The rapid expansion of Luke’s is now continuing. Soon, the aroma of freshly caught lobster is set to waft through the iconic Fenway Park.
According to News Center Maine, Luke’s Lobster will be the official lobster roll of the Boston Red Sox, with two locations opening inside the stadium.
A Fenway Frank and a beer have gone hand in hand for many years, but this year, the concession stands will look a little different. Fans will now be able to savor the flavors of Maine's prized crustacean without ever leaving the stands.
At the time of this article, I haven’t been able to find any information that states what will be available from Luke’s traditional menu, but what you can definitely expect is their famous lobster rolls and clam chowder.
