Those celebrity sightings have risen in recent years as the fast-paced life of New York City and Hollywood has worn people out and has led them to Maine for some much needed peace and quiet.

According to the Bangor Daily News, more than 30 celebrities have decided Maine is the perfect getaway for them. Call it a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood, touring, or even just the paparazzi.
