Maine Shelter Hosting Virtual Kitten Shower and You’re Invited

Animal shelters have been hit pretty hard by the coronavirus. They can't shut down completely because animals are still in need each and every day.

With so many are out of work right now, donations that local shelters rely on are scarce. In an effort to help support kittens in Central Maine, Kennebec Valley Humane Society is hosting a Virtual Kitten Shower!

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6th at 1 pm. KVHS has created an Amazon Wish List for the virtual guests to buy from leading up to the big day. The items will be shipped directly to KVHS where they will be opened on Facebook Live the day of the event. Oh and kittens will be in attendance!

They also ask that you include your name with the gift so they can give a proper thank you.

The wish list includes exactly what you would imaging, litter, food, blankets, and toys. Everything a kitty needs to have a great start in life before going to their forever home.
