Mark Wahlberg Spotted Serving Up the ‘Marky Marg’ Behind the Bar at a Boston Restaurant
PS: Before I get to this fun info, I've attached the "Good Vibrations" video from Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch at the end of this quick read for that awesome walk down MTV video lane in honor of this margarita.
Okay, now here we go. Boston's own Mark Wahlberg is everything as a bartender, and oh how I wish I was someone he was mixing up the aptly-named 'Marky Marg' for. Cheers to that deliciousness for sure, especially if it's not frozen and has some salt on the rim. According to Boston 25 News, our beloved Dorchester native, Mr. Mark Wahlberg himself, was spotted behind the bar at a new 13,000-square-foot restaurant located at 899 Congress Street in the Seaport District.
He was mixing drinks and mingling with guests and fans at the grand opening celebration of the restaurant, Moxies. And what do you ask for when Marky Mark is slinging drinks? Why, the Marky Marg. According to Boston 25 News, it's a delicious concoction of pineapple, basil, and Flecha Azul Blano Tequila.
In all fairness, you should know that Mark joined that tequila company last year to add to his growing resume as an entrepreneur, so what a score to get him on board for this opening. That's fantastic branding, and clearly fun, too. Okay, now who's ready for the official video where, I'll admit, this article is giving me an excuse to post?
