There's not a lot of debate that just about everything is more expensive these days.

From the everyday bills to clothing to the food we all need to eat to survive.

When inflation really sets in and everything gets more expensive, one industry that is generally hit hard in the restaurant industry.

Typically, prices have to go up because costs go up and in turn, some customers will turn away because they simply afford the additional expense.

So one restaurant in Biddeford, Maine, has decided to go 'old school' and bring back a selection of menu items at prices that make them cheaper than fast food.

Mulligan's in Biddeford, Maine, Launches 10 Menu Items For Under Five Bucks

Shared on social media, Mulligan's restaurant in Biddeford acknowledged that once upon a time, there select menu of items priced under five dollars 'made them famous'.

Since people are clenching their wallets tighter these days, Mulligan's is bringing back a menu that features 10 different choices for under five bucks.

Those menu items range from a salad to soups and includes sandwiches and even some smaller portion entrees like meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

Mulligan's Will Still Offer Their Traditional Menu As Well

The under-five-dollars menu at Mulligan's launches on Monday, September 22. There will be no substitutions for anything listed on that menu.

While the under-five menu will be available any time Mulligan's kitchen is open, so will their full regular-priced menu as well. The restaurant invites patrons to mix and match between menu items and discover their new favorites.
