We all know that moment when you realize you're running on empty and it's time for another fill-up. At Atlantic Farms Gas N' Grass on Warren Ave in Portland, you can re-up your gas and your (medical) stash at the same time.

This new convenience store is the first of it's kind in Maine where you can pick-up most any typical items or snacks you'd expect to find plus, for anyone with government-issued identification and a medical marijuana card, a separate section of the store is detailed with plenty of different edible and smokable products according to an article by the Portland Press Herald on CentralMaine.com.

The public face of the partnership that built the Gas N' Grass, Jackson McLeod, plans to have a variety of the best products available from Maine caregivers, in that same article, and he stressed they will prohibit on-site consumption and do not support the use of cannabis while driving.

While non-medical users won't be able to participate, I believe the "people watching" potential is pretty high. Personally, I'm pretty hopeful for the possibility of Portland's own "Jay and Silent Bob."
