New Hampshire Wants to Thank Mainers With a Liquor Discount

Admit it. You've stopped at the New Hampshire Liquor store conveniently located right off I-95 to stock up on that tax free booze. New Hampshire knows it too and they'd like to thank you with a discount.

In 2014, Maine was losing $30 million a year in liquor sales to New Hampshire because the lack of sales tax alone was a good enough reason to make the drive. This sale is just icing on the cake.

Now through September 8, New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlets are offering Mainers coupons for 11% off on up to $149.99 worth of wine and spirits at any of its 79 locations in New Hampshire as part of their "No Taxation On Our Libations" sale.

There is a catch though. You can't just show up and get your discount. You need to download a coupon at www.liquorandwineoutlets.com/notax by providing your email address and select Maine as your home state. We imagine you'll probably be carded when you show up with your coupon to make sure you live in Maine.
