After closing in January for a two month renovation Cole Farms Restaurant in Gray is almost ready to open their doors once again.

Cole Farms Restaurant & Pub originally opened on Lewiston Road in 1952, just a short drive from Gray Village on Route 202. The family run business has been serving home cooked meals for generations. Many adults today remember going to Cole Farms with their parents or grandparents when they were kids and now bring their own kids.

The renovations are nearly complete and Cole Farms will re-open on Monday April 29. In a post on the Cole Farms Facebook page, the restaurant owners say, "Re-opening Cole Farms almost feels like opening the doors to a brand-new restaurant for us because of the updates we’ve made. There will no doubt be a few hiccups here and there as we get back up and running, so we do ask for your patience during this reopening and as we complete the new market in the coming months."

Some of the updates include a rustic modern style dining area with exposed beams, a new tin ceiling and new farm tables. The kitchen has been remodeled with a brick oven added for pizza. In June, a market onsite is expected to open selling local food, craft beer and spirits.
