NH Film Festival Now Through Sunday… and It’s Damn Cool

The 15th NH Film Festival is underway in Portsmout NH! I've been to a few of them and they get bigger and better every year. You can go too! Click here to find out how, who's gonna be there and whats being showed!

I've been to this festival for a few years and it's growth has been tremendous. Last year might have been their biggest year yet in terms of attention, reach, popular films, star power and turn out. I was there and saw great stuff and met the coolest people; Flea from the Chilli Peppers who was there to help screen his new movie called, Low Down. The legendary actress and daughter of Tommy Chong, Rae Dawn Chong. I caught up with fellow Bishop Guertin High School Alum (Nashua, NH) the funny Mike O'Malley who's starred on the TV show "Yes Dear", movies like Deep Impact and 28 Days and currently writes & directs a sports based dramedy who created, called, Survivior's Remorse on Starz.

... this year though, this could be the even bigger-est year yet! You never know who might show up. The NHFF website will give you a peek into all the happenings that are scheduled. Trust me, the non-scheduled happenings are the fun part! You never know!! So don't miss it.

PERHAPS THE BIG SHOWING AT THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL IS THE NH DEBUT OF THE HORROR MOVIE CALLED, THE WITCH, DIRECTED BY A NH NATIVE WHO WON "BEST DIRECTOR" AT SUNDANCE THIS YEAR FOR THIS FILM!
