Here's a preview to get you excited!

There's a good chance whether you grew up in the 80s or the 90s, Nickelodeon was a big part of your life. As with a lot of things, the programming changed with the times. If you grew up in the 80s like myself, Nickelodeon was a totally different experience than if you grew up in the 90s.

Nickelodeon has just announced their new project, "The Splat." This is an eight hour block of some of Nick's original programming. It will debut on Teen Nick on Oct 5 and run nightly from 10pm-6am. It will feature shows like Rugrats, Hey Arnold, The Adventure's of Pete and Pete and many others.

Rob's take: As exciting as is this for a lot of people, there's something missing. EIGHTIES Nick programming. Will they cater to us older Nick fans at some point and bring back You Can't Do That on Television or maybe Out of Control featuring one Dave Coulier? Anyone remember Today's Special? No word on that yet, I can only hope. A random bout of insomnia will gladly be eased with an old episode of Mr. Wizard's World. Maybe someday.
