The Cave Inside the Omni Mount Washington Hotel Has Tons of History
For more than a century, a speakeasy known as The Cave located inside the Omni Mount Washington Resort has been welcoming guests and slinging drinks to happy patrons.
If you're doing the math, that means at one point in America's history, The Cave was flagrantly breaking the law.
The speakeasy had several quirks, from trapdoors to store whiskey to a removable brick in the wall that allowed a 'watch' during prohibition to avoid any consequences.
The Cave feels old on purpose, as a nod to its history and also some of the famed people that have walked through the doors.

The Cave is available to all visitors but in-house guests and club members are prioritized for seating.
