One of the Most Anticipated Celebrations of Food is Back in Portland
If you've never been to Harvest on the Harbor, now is your chance to make up for lost time.
Harvest on the Harbor started back in 2007 to let everyone know just how awesome Portland's food scene really is. I mean, Portland has been named The Foodiest Small Town in America and Restaurant City of the Year. Harvest on the Harbor is your chance to taste a whole bunch of it crammed in three awesome days!
There are lots of ticketed events over those three days - so you can pick and choose what you really want to go to.
Meet Your Maker Event
Here's where you are getting your after-work drink on Friday, October 28. Sip Maine-made spirits, meet the Mainer distillers, buy some bottles for home, and enjoy delicious bites. It screams - work is out! There are even custom cocktails to try! Must get tickets in advance.
Maine Oyster Fest
Love a good Maine oyster? Then this is one event you're gonna want to get tickets to early! Find out why some feel that Maine has the best oysters in the world! This Harvest on the Harbor event happens at O’Maine Studious, a great little space, filled with oyster farmers. Slurp down Maine oysters while listening to music and having a great time. Get tickets now - they will NOT be sold at the door! There are two sessions on Saturday, October 29.
Maine Lobster Chef of the Year Competition
In years past, this has been a sit-down meal. Not this year. You get to graze from nine lobster stations and meet the chefs and staff from each competing restaurant. After everything’s been tasted, it is time to vote for the favorite. There will be People’s Choice and Professionally Judged selections. Winners will be announced that night. This, and all events at Harvest on the Harbor are 21+. Your lobster ticket includes all food and drink. Clear out Thursday, October 27 - because you're busy!
Just in time for Halloween! A small cocktail class where you will leave a Zombie making expert. This is a hump day must! Wednesday, October 26, at Three of Strong Spirits.
Pick your events and do buy your tickets in advance and early. This always sells out!
