With the Foo Fighters gaining more and more worldwide attention practically every single day, fans have been popping up everywhere, both home and abroad. Last year, fans in Richmond, Va., launched a successful crowdsourced campaign that resulted in the Foos playing there for the first time in 16 years. Fans in Birmingham, England also launched a similar campaign that reached in excess of $200,000, although the band has yet to schedule a date there.

Now, the Northern Italian city of Cesena has launched a call-to-action campaign in an effort to attract the band to play in their city, with 1,000 of the most die-hard Foo Fighters fans we've ever seen performing "Learn to Fly" in tandem, without missing a beat. You can watch the clip of their elated and moving rendition above.

The collective, dubbed Rockin'1000, announced their motives in a clip, which you can watch below (if you can understand Italian). If anything, the creepy Dave Grohl head showing up on the player right now is interesting enough:
