Popular Chain Restaurant in New England to Give Out Free Wings on Special Condition
Free wings! Okay, now that I have your attention...
Popeye's is giving out free wings, but on one condition. A team with wings in their logo needs to win the the big game on February 11. If you're a football fanatic, you probably know that comes down to Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles. I'm pretty sure that's not a wing shooting out the side of the buffalo on the Bills logo, but they're in the mix too, maybe because of buffalo wing connection?
I'm not a huge football guy, so I'm going to steer away from publishing any odds of this happening. But if you've had Popeye's wings, I'm sure you'd be down for a free order.
Now, let's be honest, most of these fast food handouts come with some sort of promotion, and we're completely fine with that, especially when the opportunity is there to sample the launch of five new wing flavors being offered by Popeye's. Get ready for ghost pepper (sounds spicy), sweet n' spicy, honey BBQ, roasted garlic parmesan, and signature hot.
What are the exact terms and conditions? Well, one of those three teams needs to win the big game. If they do, customers can get their hands all saucy with a free six-piece order of wings with any purchase two days after, which happens to be Mardi Gras. With that being "Fat Tuesday" and Popeye's originating in Louisiana, it seems like the perfect day.
What if the Cleveland Browns win? Maybe Ace Hardware can hand out free plungers?
