According to signage on the establishment's windows, The Raging Bull Saloon will reopen on Thursday, April 8th, 2021.

The country-themed bar opened in the fall of 2019 in the Water Street location that had previously been home to Charlemagne's and Circa 1885.  They quickly became known for being a great, downtown Augusta, nightspot.

Sadly, only a few months after they opened, the pandemic hit Maine.  As with all restaurants, they closed for dine-in service throughout most of the spring.  They reopened for the summer, but closed back down when Governor Mills instituted her "curfew" on certain business types.

If you've been waiting for them to reopen, the wait is almost over.

As a country bar, it should not be a big surprise that they have some amazing cocktails based on whiskey and bourbons.  And, if you like to try new things, I'd suggest trying one of their whiskey flights.

If you're looking for dinner, they have something for every taste.  Great wings, nachos, soups, and salads.  Honestly, though, you really need to try their wraps - like the Cowboy Roll.  It's got chicken, black beans, corn, cheese, and jalapeno ranch all rolled into a wrap.

And, once things get a little more back to normal, hopefully we'll see them bring back live music.  In the time they were open, they hosted some amazing country acts.  Plus, they had karaoke and open mic nights, too.
