Old School Photo Booth Finds New Home in Portland, Maine
For a lot of people, capturing authentic moments with photos has become a bit of a lost art. Blame it on everyone having a powerful digital camera in their hand at all times.
While digital photos have their positives, younger generations have become fond of old school photos. Whether that be in the form of a classic Polaroid camera or an analog photo booth.
Visitors to Portland, Maine, throughout the summer fell in love with analog photos at a booth that was located inside Off Track Pizza.
Now, you'll have to visit another Old Port location to catch those perfect moments in analog.
Gritty's Becomes New Home For Old School Photo Booth in Portland, Maine
That same photo booth from Off Track Pizza has officially made its way to its new home at Gritty's along Fore Street in Portland's Old Port.

The analog photo booth can be found to the right of Gritty's entrance. Gritty's plans to make the photo booth available every day the business is open.
Occasionally, Gritty's will use that space as a stage for live music performances. During that time, the photo booth will be unavailable.
Why Are Analog Photos Suddenly So Popular?
The intense and often unflattering ability of digital lenses has reminded people about the beauty that can be found in analog photos.

Analog photo booths like the one found at Gritty's offer natural and compressed photos that give people a truer version of themselves caught in a candid moment.
The anticipation is part of it as well. Unlike a digital photo that can be instantly seen and deleted, analog photo booths typically take several minutes to deliver the final product adding to the intrigue.
