Drive-in movie theaters were lifesavers during peak-pandemic months in 2020. As people were desperate to leave their homes safely and have a little fun, drive-in theaters offered entertainment from the comfort of your own vehicle.

Prides Corner on Bridgton Road in Westbrook will be open for the season with the long-awaited Godzilla vs. Kong. The film first rolled out on HBO Max and received a 75% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer and a 91% Audience Score.

You can catch the season opener Friday, May 14th, and Saturday, May 15th at 8:20 pm. Prides Corner states that they will have clear markers on the field so vehicles can spread out, bathrooms will be open, and food will be available takeout style. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite here. Tickets are $15 a carload up to 5 people and an extra $5 for every additional person.

The following weekend, May 19th through the 21st Prides Corner will be showing the new Mortal Kombat and on the 22nd catch a Bon Jovi Concert.
