-Maine, as you already know, is the home of a LOT of great, original local music. Well, to help celebrate that fact, Hot Trash Portland is putting on a Music Video awards ceremony! Head over to OLS to check out the whacky creations, both sonic and visual, that musicians from all over Maine have to offer.

-Farewell shows are always bittersweet, but command your attendance a little more forcefully than normal. Such is the case with The Early Mornings, a sadly short-lived blues rock band from the Portland area. Joined by rocker Johnny Clay Shanks and folk outfit Snughouse, TEM's last show is looking like a doozy.
SATURDAY:
Wait w/ They Called Me Legion & Earthwyrm
Bangor Arts Exchange (Bangor)

$5 Advance / $7 Day of Show

-This one is a must for rock fans in the Bangor area. Wait has a great harder indie rock sound, and They Called Me Legions and Earthwyrm round out the bill quite nicely. This show is ALL AGES, which means the kids can come check it out as well! Recommended, as I was an all-ages show junkie when I was in my youth.
