Americans have accumulated hundreds of billions of dollars in personal loan debt, especially over the last few years with the inflation crisis, and it appears that Mainers are feeling the hit more than most.

The last couple of years have proven to be a tough time for people to not only buy homes, but to also just find a suitable roof over their heads to rent within their budget. Maine lawmakers agree that this is a problem, and plan to address it at upcoming legislative meeting.

The housing crisis is crazy right now. I certainly don't have the answers but something needs to happen. Or is it too late?
