Following the first major snowstorm of the winter in New England, a potentially dangerous wind and rain storm could hit Maine and New Hampshire next week.
The December storm knocked out power for hundreds of thousands, caused floods and road closures, and even took lives, resulting in near record-high water levels for the Saco, Kennebec, and Androscoggin Rivers.
Residents in Maine are going through evacuations from their homes due to the storm. I had a conversation with a Lewiston resident who was forced to vacate her house.
There's a lot of work to be done, and when you take a look at some of the photos that CMP has posted to their Facebook page, you can see that daunting task ahead of these crews.
