Target Is Getting a 7 Billion Dollar Makeover

What will seven BILLION dollars do to Target? They are starting in Houston and it could come to Maine...

Target has taken a beating with online sales kicking their butt. So, Target is investing and changing how they sell.

First, the Houston store will sport two entrances:

One for in and out shopping (speed entrance) with grab and go items in their grocery aisles, self check out and a counter just for picking up items ordered online. The other entrance will be for those that want to browse.

Outside there will be parking spots for shoppers who want stuff delivered to them...in their car.

In the next three years Target will renovate 600 stores. I bet Maine will be on that list.

There are five Targets in Maine from Bangor to Biddeford. No word if they will get the spiffy upgrade...but they could.
