Sadly it's not a new Temp Tales episode from our friends at O'Chang Comics to make you laugh, but educational nonetheless. Mainers, ever imagine our waters without our red-clawed sea creatures? I'll be honest, I wasn't paying too much attention to the global weather over the winter, I was too consumed with the brutal Maine winter that was kicking our ass. It was apparently the hottest winter on record in the rest of the world. Even though the Maine winters sometimes seem long and cold, the waters are heating up overtime. Even though the lobster catch came in at about 144 million pounds last year (6 times that of 1985), it's in danger of going backwards. In the video above, O'chang Comics teamed up with the University of Maine Sea Grant Program for an interesting but scary video about the potential future for Maine lobsters.
