Temps Could Get Blisteringly Hot In Maine For Father’s Day
So what is Dad's favorite indoor activity? We ask because some of the forecast models for Maine are calling for unseasonably hot temperatures for Father's Day this Sunday.
Keith Carson shared on Twitter what the EURO model is show. All of southern Maine goes straight roast job, with temps ranging from the mid 80's all the way to low 90's. If you're feeling left out northern Maine, don't be. Mother Nature will still find the energy to pump some of the fever your way, with temps in the low to mid-80's.
The GFS forecast isn't a huge change for one half of Maine. Shared on Twitter by Robert LaRoche, the temps will hold strong in the upper 80's and low 90's in southern and downeast Maine, but northern Maine cools off considerably.
So unless the #1 thing on dad's list for Sunday was a new air conditioner or a sweat towel, you may want to plan accordingly.
