As we get closer and closer to Election Day, the number of political signs planted in the ground near busy streets and intersections in Maine is growing like weeds. Trump, Biden, Collins, Gideon, No on 1, 2, A, B, F. It's becoming overwhelming.

But there's one corner in Falmouth that if you look carefully through the two dozen or so signs, you'll find one that stands out and has none of those names listed above on it.

The sign that reads "Politicians Are Temporary. Wu-Tang is Forever!" is on private property at the corner of Babbidge and Falmouth Road in Falmouth, an intersection that sees a good deal of traffic, so it's prime real estate for political signs.

In case you've never heard of them, Wu-Tang Clan is a hip hop group whose 1993 debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) is highly regarded as one of the best hip hop albums of all time. Ol' Dirty Bastard and Method man are two of their most recognized members.

Obviously, Wu-Tang isn't running. I'm sure there's something in the Constitution that says music groups are not eligible for political office. Kanye has got that covered anyway with his solo campaign.

The sign is a reference to Wu-Tang Clan's second album "Wu-Tang Forever," and it helps send a clever political message from fans. If you want your own "Wu-Tang is Forever" political sign, we found them for sale on Etsy. It'll set you back $27.69, but shipping is free and the sign is timeless. You can use it every election year because...say it with me...Wu-Tang is forever.
